TariqJae S. Brown is a senior consultant with VYD and Associates specializing in the Operations, Healthcare and the Federal Government Sector. Mr. Brown has over 15 years of industry and consulting experience. He has led public health and emergency management programs at the local, state and federal level. He has worked with over 500 clients and his programs have impacted billions around the globe.

Mr. Brown’s industry experience includes serving as the Emergency Management Coordinator of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta where he was responsible for managing the emergency response program of three hospitals, five Urgent Care Centers, and over 30 other medical offices throughout the Atlanta metro area. In public health where his experience includes various jobs within the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Mr. Brown authored a national lab safety emergency response guidance plan enacted through a Presidential Order, which was been adopted by over 300 (select agent) biosafety labs. As an emergency response subject matter expert he has consulted with various countries around the world to implement the similar policies.

Mr. Brown is also a graduate of Leadership Atlanta’s LEAD Atlanta class of 2010. He has an MBA from Cornell University, a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Georgia and holds a dual Bachelor of Science in Urban Public Policy and Economic Development from Georgia State University.
